Lakeland Community Hospital Celebrating All Nurses This Week!

Lakeland Community Hospital joined hospitals across the U.S. in celebrating and recognizing our hospital staff.

The festivities included great snacks, a candy bar, a community-wide “Nacho” Average Nurse Luncheon, games, and prizes. We are so grateful for our nurses!

On Wednesday, we kicked off our celebration by recognizing our tenured staff members.

Our Celebration Brunch honored employees with 5, 10, 15, and 20 years of service.

Our Celebration Luncheon included our 25- to 55-year service award employees and marked the retirement of two very special staff members: Diann Caldwell and Katrina Jacobs. Diann was one of the hospital’s first employees, starting her career at Lakeland when she was a teenager. Katrina, a nurse for over four decades, has served in several different roles in the nursing department.

Lakeland Community Hospital thanks all healthcare heroes, especially ours, for their years of service to the profession and our community!
