Dr. Amy Traylor

Dr. Amy Traylor

Dr. Traylor attended the University of South Alabama where she received an undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences and minored in Spanish. She then continued at South Alabama for medical school. Dr. Traylor then completed a rural family medicine residency in Pittsburg, Texas through the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Tyler. During that time, she completed an executive Masters of Business Administration with the University of Texas at Tyler.

Because she grew up in Alexander City, it was always her goal to move back to Alabama and practice medicine in a small town. She loves being able to explore the Haleyville area with her dog, Nova.

As a professional nerd, Dr. Traylor is currently working on a Masters of Public Health with UAB. In her free time, she loves watching college sports- especially Auburn football and basketball.
