Staff is available 24/7 for a free confidential screening and intake process.
Upon completion of our Detox Program we offer referrals to residential long term treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, sober living facilities, 12-step recovery-support groups, and we also offer MAT (Medically Assisted Treatment), per the patient's request and/or if our attending physician feels that any opiate dependent patient would be a good candidate for the Medically Assisted Treatment.
We have full medical staff located within the Hospital and on the unit 24/7, Certified Peer Support Specialist (Certified by the Alabama Department of Mental Health and recognized by SAMHSA) on staff, plus providers make rounds every day in order to check on patients, assess their progress, and ensure their well being throughout the Detoxification Process.
Here at Lakeland Community Hospital Medical Detox Unit our Certified Peer Support Specialist, Program Director, and Treatment Coordinator like to sit down with each individual patient and try to find the best fit for YOU and YOUR Recovery, because what works for one may not work for another, and we here at Lakeland Community Hospital understand that.
