LakePoint’s inpatient treatment programs are designed to treat issues common for senior citizens. Some of these include:
- Combative behavior
- Loss of appetite
- Social Isolation
- Suicidal attempts or threats
- Mood disorder
Patients with Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder. Alzheimer’s or Dementia may also benefit from treatment at LakePoint.
LakePoint is a behavioral health program for seniors age 55 and older located at Lakeland Community Hospital that offers comprehensive mental health services. Our program is based on a foundation of dignity and respect. Senior adults, age 55 and older, that may need inpatient treatment, please contact our intake department for a confidential assessment.
The facility is open for admissions 24 hours a day. 7 days a week.
The admission process begins with a referral, which can come from a variety of sources, including: physicians, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, family members or the patient themselves.
